Living in the rural areas infer that they are almost cut off from most government services and provision such as security, educational facilities, medical supplies, electricity etcetera. Due to the absence of these basic social amenities, there has been huge migration of many people living in rural areas to urban areas, like Mogadisho, Hargeisa, Garoowe etcetera, and this has caused economic breakdown, decreased the livestock, destroyed the value of society, and shattered the Somali culture and heritage.
